A DOCTOR's VIEW

Doctor's advice: Try 'Earth's 1st Food', primordial soup. Bon appetit.

Dr. Mitchell V. Kaminski Jr., M.D. and Diplomat for the American Board of Surgery and Nutrition, stated, in a preliminary research study on Spirulina maxima that "Spirulina is the first step from the primordial soup of which we are all made, and if not contained in our diet, we suffer deficiencies even after thousands of years of evolution."
"I am excited about the potential of Spirulina entering the medical nutrition field. There are several other components God placed in Spirulina which I would bet will also prove to be beneficial - if not also relatively essential to other biologic functions, such as its contents of enzymatic pigments, gamma linolenic acid to name a few. Its ironic but it seems we are replaying the old story of man trying to reinvent the creator's wheel."
"It contains a concentrated complete form of protein which is high in perfect balance of essential amino acids including the all important branched chain amino acids. It is also rich in other non-essential amino acids some of which have been recently shown to be relatively essential such as glutamine and arginine. Its' carbohydrate is in a form of glycogen, identical to that of the human body. The fat content is a mixture of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids. The vitamin and mineral profile is also unique in that it is very high in vitamin B12, vitamin E and a profile of carotenoids, such as betacarotene. The minerals are chelated. Thus, all of the above essential co-factors are in an unusually absorbable form. Spirulina even has some fiber."
"This organism is positioned very low on the food chain i.e., it is a phytoplankton. Phytoplankton are able to capture the energy from the sun, utilize the nutrients in their watery environment and synthesize protein, carbohydrate and fat. The smallest creature eat this, the larger creatures eat the smaller and so on as the food chain grows. Spirulina is unique. It is not a sea plant. It is about 100 times larger in size than most other algae, or vegetable plankton. It has a soft cell wall and thus, is easily digestible. Spirulina is the first step from the primordial soup of which we are all made, and if not contained in our diet, we suffer deficiencies even after thousands of years of evolution."
